When a user clicks "I have read this", Pageackly stores, for that page: the user's Atlassian account ID, the time of the acknowledgement, and the page version. Nothing else about the user is stored. Display names are read from Confluence when a report is shown and are not stored.
All data is kept in Atlassian Forge hosted storage, inside Atlassian's infrastructure. Pageackly has no external servers and sends no data outside Atlassian (no egress). The developer does not receive or have a copy of your data.
The data is used only to show acknowledgement status and reports inside your Confluence site.
